Models are useful in understanding the three dimensional arrangement of atoms in molecules. X-Ray analysis has established the intricate structure of molecules. It is possible to follow these intricacies without the use of models. The model sets in this kit compromises certain inaccuracies of actual atomic structure but are sufficiently accurate to make most satisfactory models, at a reasonable cost, for us by students.
